Eighteen Year 11 girls recently completed their bronze Duke of Edinburgh award after successfully signing off on their skill, physical, voluntary and expedition sections. The have been working hard over the past year to complete activities for either 3 or 6 months to show their commitment to improving themselves and their local community. The girls can continue on with the D of E journey to participate in the Gold that is currently being offered to 6th form. We have another cohort of twenty six girls in year 10 who currently in the middle of their skills, physical and voluntary work with expeditions starting in June. We wish all those involved in the Duke of Edinburgh award the best of luck with their future adventures and commend them on completing what is regarded as "the best extra curricular experience for their CVs" by future employers.
