Broughton Hall High School - One Heart, One Mind
MCS Projects Science Challenge Day
A group of 6th Form scientists have recently returned from Geneva after visiting the largest Science experiment in human history. Students visited CERN in Geneva to see up close the exciting work an international team of Scientists are completing to unlock the secrets of particle Physics and explore the conditions in the aftermath of the Big bang.

Students got chance to meet scientists working on the LHC ( Large Hadron collider) and examine the cutting edge technology on display. There was still time left to explore the cosmopolitan city of Geneva and take a tour on its fabulous lake. The trip will hopefully run again next year for the next generation of A level scientists at Broughton Hall.
