Broughton Hall High School - One Heart, One Mind

During the first week of the Easter Holidays, the Geography Department ran their first foreign field trip to the amazing country of Iceland. Forty five students visited numerous amazing places; beautiful waterfalls, such as Gullfoss, saw a geyser erupt a fountain of hot water into the air, stood on the boundary between two tectonic plates, walked on a retreating glacier, spent some free time in the capital and visited a geothermal spa.

Throughout our week away the students were sensible, well behaved, punctual, did everything we asked of them and were a real credit to themselves and the school.
