Alder Hey Festival of Innocation
Alder Hey’s Festival of Innovation takes place on Friday 21st June. The aim of the Festival of Innovation is to engage and inspire the next generation of innovators (children and young people) and their families by supporting them to explore what Innovation means, what it looks like (in its many different forms!) and it’s potential to create a healthier future for children and young people, everywhere. Running from 4pm and 7pm, it will be a great event with learning and innovation at its heart.

Here is a flavour of the things on offer:
  • 2 hour children’s hackathon (Kidovation) run by Accenture – where you will be taken through different tools to be innovative/creative and come up with some ideas and solutions to solve some of the problems we currently face in healthcare.
  • National Museums Liverpool will show off some of their exhibitions.
  • A maker space where you can get hands-on with woodwork, 3D printing, coding etc.
  • Science workshops and exciting activities.
Follow the below link to the Eventbrite page for the Festival, where you can sign up to the after school session (whether you’ll be there for 15 minutes or 3 hours it’s the same ticket) alongside the chance to book yourself on to some of the workshops. Some of the activities will be limited numbers so make sure to get your ticket for these as soon as you can!

**Please note, when booking tickets make sure to choose the 4pm-7pm option**
