Broughton Hall High School - One Heart, One Mind
Once again, we welcomed East Prescot Road Nursery to Broughton Hall so they could celebrate their Snowman Day with us. We were delighted to help organise the day with many of our Sixth Form students facilitating the event. The children enjoyed watching The Snowman which was followed by some circle games and lots of dancing! The Expressive Arts Department led some Christmas carols for us all to enjoy and it certainly got us into the Christmas spirit!

We are extremely lucky to have developed such a great relationship with East Prescot Road Nursery and our sixth form students certainly benefit from this relationship. Many of our sixth form students use The Snowman Day to contribute towards their non qualification hours which help develop employability skills, (all Year 12 must complete 25 within the year!) and some students are lucky enough to visit the nursery as part of their work experience. We thank Mrs Bentley, Headteacher for continuing to support our school with this.

It was fantastic to see an ex Broughton student, Jess Tinsley who now works at the nursery and could pass on some valuable career advice to our students!

We're looking forward to next year already!
