⭐ Matilda the Musical ⭐

The sound of laughter, cheering and energy echoed from the Dance Drama Theatre at Broughton Hall. It was our first production after many years and it DID NOT disappoint! 4 performances across 3 days demonstrated months of hard work and dedication from our pupils creating an outstanding performance that had the audience on their feet and wanting more.

Over 50 performers created the cast of Matilda from year 7 to year 13 to even guest performers from our staff members?. It was great to see the three disciplines of the arts: dance, drama and music all coming together to produce the "best musical production Broughton Hall has ever performed."

The faces and excitement from our pupils at the end of each performance summed up what has been an incredible experience for all involved. New friendships have been forged and memories that will last a lifetime have been made. Mrs Sutherberry and Miss Collins are extremely proud of what the pupils achieved and look forward to their creative talents continuing to flourish and grow.

Matilda Pizza Premier

On Friday 24th February Mrs Sutherberry and Miss Collins with the support of Mr Preston gathered the 50+ cast member of Matilda in Dance Drama Theatre. The pupils from years 7 to 11 enjoyed treats of pizza, chocolate, and sweets to reward and celebrate their achievement of a fantastic show and hours of dedication.

The pupils got to share the first viewing of the production and they were not disappointed. The cast laughed, sang and revisited the joyful memories they experienced during the show.
