Year 7 and Year 8 Sports Hall Athletics
A team of Year 7 and a team of Year 8 pupils were selected to represent Broughton Hall in the Liverpool School Sports Partnership competition on Wednesday 25th January at Greenbank Sports Academy. The two teams competed in their age groups and demonstrated tremendous resilience, team work and all round sportsmanship.
Pupils provided support to one another on the mats during races as well as taking responsibility to demonstrate events and warm-up the Year 7 team.
The Year 8 team achieved 6th position out of 15 schools with some amazing individual results and the Year 7 team came 2nd overall out of 15 schools which means they have progressed through to the Merseyside finals!!!!!!
